Hi! How are all of you? We are doing well. I am recovering from my sickness now. I am down to just a cough! Yay me! Kenzie is enjoying school as much as always although, she is starting to not want to be woke up for it as much here lately! Maddie is herself learning new things each day. I can't wait to see what new things she will come up with each day. Ryan is working and they are jacking him around there. They gave him the BT position (behavior tech) but for the last two weeks, they have pulled the BT to be an aide on one of the other units. It is very frustrating. I got the cake done at about 1am, but since my camera was in the car (in my purse) and I forgot to bring that in when I got home, it was still raining pretty bad, I opted to not go out and get it, I was going to tell ryan to snap a pic when Becky got there to get the cake, but forgot this morning. Oh man. I will have to do another Pikachu cake since I didn't get the pic like I wanted to. Oh well, you can't always do everything you want. I have added some new songs to my playlist and taken some out. I added: God of Wonders by Caedmon's Call, Old Rugged Cross by Alan Jackson, Cartoon Song by Chris Rice (I love this song), and I'll Fly Away by Jars of Clay. They are all great songs that mean so much to me. I love Cartoon Song just because it is cute and you should read the lyrics to all of them. I am putting them in on this blog as well. So check them out. Also, this week the pictures of our pots should be interesting. they continue growing. I have lots comming up in the daylilly pot and even the hostas are starting to come up! wow how fast!
Kenzie got off of the bus screaming, "Mom it snowed!" It was so cute. Then when I got into her backpack, I found her daily sheet with this on it... Kenzie had wrote her name (not perfect but she tried) and a note from the teacher above it saying "INDEPENDENT WRITING-- ONLY VERBAL PROMPTS!" I am so excited for her! We are definately getting somewhere. Then under the teacher comments part, I find... "SHE CAME IN TELLING ME IT WAS SNOWING-- SUPER EXCITED!" I too saw this when she got home! Construction Zone Newsletter Week 2 Dear Family, This week Kenzie will learn about solving problems. Using the topic "Build with Me," we will read stories about building things and working together to solve problems. You can help your child learn more by talking with him/her about things she/he is doing at school and the new letters and words that he/she is learning. Here are some ways that you can work with your child at home. Think and Talk: What did y...
