The small things we're thankful for

November always begins quietly in our home - not with the rush of the holidays,b ut with a gentle shift toward gratitude. It's the month where the small things suddenly feel bigger, where the everyday moments we usually rush past start to glow a little warmer.

This year, gratitude showed up in the tiniest corners of our days.

It was in the way the house felt softer, calmer, more settled as the weather cooled. It was in the comfort of familiar routines, the laughter that bubbled up during family watch parties, and the simple joy of knowing we were all under the same roof at the same time.

It was in the meals we shared - even the quick ones - and the way they seemed to anchor us after long days. It was in the quiet mornings, the cozy evenings, and the little victories that reminded us we're moving forward, even when life feels slow.

Gratitude lived in the conversations that stretched longer than expected, the hugs that lingered, and the moments where we realized we were exactly where we needed to be.

And maybe most of all, gratitude showed up in the awareness that these small things - the ones we often overlook - are the ones that shape our lives the most.

November invites us to pause, breathe, and notice. And this week, we're thankful for the small things that make our days feel full.
