Lots of mentionables... Be prepared for pics!!!

Today, we have lots going on! Kenzie brought home several things from school. One was where she had cut and pasted her name in order K E N Z I E. One was a picture of her with a cut out of an apple with her name below her. One was a cut out of the letter A. One was a newsletter from Mrs Brittany. In a nut shell it said:

This week (that would be next week) they will concentrate on Family and community!

Here are the suggested things for us to conversate with her:

*What did you read today?

*What was the story about?

*Who are the people in our family?

*What are some of the things that our family does together?

The suggested home activties are:

*Letter Hunt

*Morning Routine

(the newsletter gives details about each activity that I have chosen not to put here.)

The note from the teacher is this:

"Dear Parents, We are learning about our families. Please send in photos that can be cut. The can include: Parens, siblings, pets, grandparents."

I have gone through the ones that I have printed (I have most of them in albums on Kodak waiting to be printed.) and selected several to send in for her. So Kenzie will have pics of all of her uncles (except Uncle Derrick since I don't have any snapshots that can be cut of him), Kenzie, Maddie, Mommy, Daddy, Yaya, Pappy, Nana, Aunt Amanda, Riley, Shelby, Nick and Anthony. I think that should suffice. They might not use all of the ones that I am sending, but atleast she gets a selection!

On to other things, I have some cute but crazy girls! They are a hoot! Maddie is now trying to tell us that she will NOT NAP! She prefers to stay awake and play with "INZI" that is what it sounds like anyway. I think she is trying to say "Kenzie". It is so cute when she does this. Now for some pics.

Look at all those teeth! She is such a cutie! And this was the only pic I could get her to show her teeth to me!

Here is a 4 year old with spaghetti o's for lunch.....

And now for the 16 month old. Quite a difference isn't there?I can play pat a cake too Mommy!

See! I told you I could!

Here are my barbie nightgown wearing goofy princesses! They had a blast with being in pink nightgowns together!

THE ATTACK OF PRINCESS MADDIE! (Kenzie's favorite wrestler is King Booker so that is why I put it that way!)

"I AM GONNA GET YOU MOMMY!" that is what that face remind me of!

Look at the happy girl! She was such a hamm last night as was her sister. We had a blast!

Hope you all enjoyed them as much as I did taking them. I will upload more when I get the chance, but those basically went over what fun we had yesterday! The girls are great!

Love, Dawn

Kenzie's day at school

Kenzie got off of the bus screaming, "Mom it snowed!" It was so cute. Then when I got into her backpack, I found her daily sheet with this on it... Kenzie had wrote her name (not perfect but she tried) and a note from the teacher above it saying "INDEPENDENT WRITING-- ONLY VERBAL PROMPTS!" I am so excited for her! We are definately getting somewhere. Then under the teacher comments part, I find... "SHE CAME IN TELLING ME IT WAS SNOWING-- SUPER EXCITED!" I too saw this when she got home! Construction Zone Newsletter Week 2 Dear Family, This week Kenzie will learn about solving problems. Using the topic "Build with Me," we will read stories about building things and working together to solve problems. You can help your child learn more by talking with him/her about things she/he is doing at school and the new letters and words that he/she is learning. Here are some ways that you can work with your child at home. Think and Talk: What did y...

city walk

What Your City Walk Means You are thoughtful and contemplative. You enjoy spending time alone with your thoughts. You are generally confident and friendly with strangers. You are well mannered and sociable. Money is very important to you. You like to have lots of nice things... and you don't care if you're being greedy. You are curious about ideas. If you had the means, you'd like to explore the whole world. The City Walk Personality Test

And WINTER is here!

I look out the window to see.... A BLANKET OF SNOW! It is covering my driveway, walkway, yard.... and we are expecting more this week! I think it is safe to say that winter has finally decided to come! Don't get me wrong, snow is pretty, but I don't like it because that means I have to drive in dangerous conditions! I would much rather be driving in tropical storm force winds and rain (I have done this! When all the hurricanes were going through Florida a couple of years ago!). Now on to other things... Saturday: I had a really busy day. I was at work and didn't think it would ever end. Admissions and falls and sending people to the hospital... stabalizing others and stuff that goes on in the health care centers all the time. Sunday: Zach forgot to add me back into the schedule, so I got off at 2pm. Rode home with Maxx since he lives in Jeffersonville and Ryan and the girls were going to be at his house anyway. When we got there we watched a little of the game an...
